Kulintang

Kulintang is an ancient instrumental music form of Southeast Asia composed on a row of small, horizontally-laid melodic gongs accompanied by larger suspended gongs and drums. It represents the most developed tradition of Southeast Asian archaic gong-chime ensembles and is associated with pre-Islamic indigenous cultures of the region.
