Fijiri is the traditional vocal music of pearl divers from the Arabian Gulf states, particularly Bahrain and Kuwait. The music features a lead singer (nahham) backed by chorus vocals and clapping, accompanied by traditional percussion instruments including the mirwās hand-drum and jāhlah clay pot.
